Surveyors Department, Hong Kong, I

am, etc., to transmit to you a copy

of a letter from the Board of Trade

on the subject, together with a copy

of a telegram from the Governor of

N.P.2.

Hong Kong. It will be observed

that the Governor desires that the

appointment of another Engineer

Surveyor should be made in addition

to the appointments of Engineer

Surveyor and Ship Surveyor mentioned

in the letter from this Department
